Henry VIII gold Angel ND (1509-26) XF Details (Mount Removed) NGC, S-2265, Castle mm. A pleasing example with reddish-gold tone and nicely-defined features. The central motifs are extremely well detailed and the legends are fully present. Struck on a broad flan without any cracks, there is minor disruption from where the mount was removed. An excellent example of Henry VIII coinage.
