Great Britain
James I Crown ND (1620-24) XF40 NGC, S-2664, Third coinage, Grass ground-line and obverse colon stops, Rome mm. A handsome pebble-gray example with a considerable amount of detail on the armored rider and horse. Light pitting on the flan is present and typical of these crowns; however, the reverse displays some brightness in the protected areas and is highly appealing. While concentrated areas of softness exist, they are relegated to the reverse. A highly coveted type and very desirable selection.
