Great Britain
Charles I gold Unite ND (1625) VF35 NGC, S-2685, First bust in coronation robes, Tower mint, Lis mm. Attractive, deeply aged amber-gold surfaces with light doubling on the obverse and a considerable amount of detail remaining on the face of Charles. Light hairlining is present to the left of the bust but does not overwhelm the overall appearance of the coin. The strike is noticeably well-centered and the detail within the reverse shield is exceptionally sharp for this type. A very pleasing example of this popular Charles I coinage.
