George II Crown 1739 MS63 NGC, ESC-122, S-3687. Roses in angles. DVODECIMO edge. A broad and beautiful specimen with alluring slate-gray surfaces that are illuminated by underlying golden luster. Well-struck and with no distractions, save for one small obverse planchet flaw which is barely noticeable thanks to the evenness of the patina. A striking example, scarcely seen in this level of mint-state.
