George II gold 5 Guineas 1729-EIC AU Details (Reverse Graffiti) NGC, S-3664, Young Bust, TERTIO edge. A broad and pleasing example with harvest-gold surfaces highlighted by amber tone surrounding the legends. Boldly-struck and quite lustrous with very minor reverse graffiti in the form of light scratches to the right of the crown. A highly desirable issue made from gold specie supplied to the Royal Mint by the East India Company, the hallmark of which is manifest as initials below the bust.
