Republic 4 Reales 1892 VF25 NGC, Guatemala mint, KM160. 13.52 grams. 0.835 fineness one-year type with only 2600 struck. Very elusive with about ten reported. The doubled striking on a coin this size probably relates to the difficulties the Guatemala City mint was having with its machinery in this period right before the Heaton mint was contracted. Ex.
