Philip V gold Cob 8 Escudos ND (1727-1728) Mo-D Choice Fine, Mexico City mint, KM57.2, Fr-6, cf. Onza-409,410. An unflawed and full weight (27.03 grams) specimen, with the "D" assayer initial partially visible under the "Mo" mintmark to the left of the shield but the date struck off-flan as often seen for this cob issue.
