Miguel I gold 6400 Reis (Peça) 1830 MS64 NGC, Lisbon mint, KM397, Fr-138. A handsome example of this scarce issue with the laureate bust of Miguel and the crowned arms of Portugal. Prooflike fields with typical surface abrasions with the exception of one larger mark beneath Miguel's chin; however, the fully struck reverse of this piece more than makes up for this. Overall, very pleasing for this two-year type.
