Saudi Arabia
Abd Al-Aziz bin Sa'ud gold Pound ND (1947) MS61 NGC, Philadelphia mint, KM35. Attractive rose-gold surfaces on this attractive bullion coin, struck to satisfy the obligation of the ARAMCO to the Saudi Arabian government. Baring the same weight as a British Sovereign, these pieces were struck based on the British sterling system of .917 fineness which was slightly higher than the US standard of .900 fineness. A very interesting and highly collectible type in select mint-state.
Estimate: 1900-2200 USD
