Griquatown. British Colony bronze Proof Pattern Penny ND (1890) PR65 Brown NGC, KM-X9 variety. Reflective surfaces are subdued on this example with rich mahogany surfaces that burst with iridescent blue and red luster. Undated, but made in 1890 with 1 star at each side of the flying dove. A superior Pattern, part of the L.C. Lauer series struck by Otto Nolte & Company in Berlin.
