Enrique IV (1454-74) gold Enrique de la silla ND AU58 NGC, Seville mint, Fr-116, Cayon-1538. + ЄnRICVS * QVARTVS * DЄI * GRACIA * RЄX, crowned King seated facing on throne, a sword in his right hand / + ЄnRICVS * RЄX * CASTЄLLЄ * ЄT LЄGIONIS, quartered arms of Castile-Leon in tressure of arches with annulets in spandrels, mintmark at the bottom. Although the obverse bears a few small copper spots, this Enrique is in the main quite pleasing. Most of the surfaces retain thick luster and the strike is well-centered on a fully-round planchet. With the addition of lovely tone, this specimen is sure to bring a premium.
