Charles & Johanna gold Cob Escudo ND (1516-56)-T AU50 NGC, Toledo mint, cf. Cal-41. Limited wear and attractive reddish toning combine and result in a quite handsome specimen. This particular variety with "T" and "★" flanking the shield is not recorded by Calico, so is presumably scarcer. Quite more elusive than similar coins struck in Seville.
