Costa Rica
Specimen Muling of CR & Guatemala Token, Copper Specimen striking which combines two nations' token coinage onto one flan (a bilateral effort?). The Costa Rican side has its National Arms with AMERICA CENTRAL on a banner above. Hacienda del PATALILLO surrounds it. The Guatemala side shows ANTIGUA (its colonial capital), value 1/4 (real) and O. BLEULER & Co. The luster is full, brilliant and impressive. Rulau showed the CR token as his SJS -65 and Odis Clark the Guatemala as his #45. An identical example, also apparently one of just five or so reported, sold for $1092 in the Dana Roberts' 2012 Chicago sale. Important token and very appealing.
Estimate: 500-1000 USD
