Dutch Colonial 1/4 Gulden ND(1838) Extremely Fine, KM27, Sch-1388. A 1/4th segment of a 1829 Netherlands Willem I Guilder with crenated edges countermarked with "C" stamp raised within an oval. Authorized by Act of June 8, 1838. Coin and counterstamp Extremely Fine, toned and unusually choice for the issue. Also deserving a premium since showing the date of the base coin, a most attractive specimen of this scarce West Indies issue.
