Groningen silver Medal 1672 XF, Van Loon III, p.108, 3. Struck to celebrate the unsuccessful siege of the city by the Bishop of Munster in 1672. Obverse depicts the city being besieged. Reverse shows the fortifications of the city of Coevorden, which was besieged as well. Medal is unsigned, diameter is 54 mm. Included is the original sales tag from Jacques Schulman.
