Nicholas I 2 Kopecks 1842 CПM MS64 Brown NGC, Izhora mint, Bitkin-821, KM-C145.3. The strike, while not completely full, is nice for the issue, with traces of original mint-red color around the devices and no mentionable flaws. Rare in Mint State, and the only example certified, in any condition, by either NGC, or PCGS. The only other high-grade example we can reference sold in the October 2012 Sincona auction, graded Uncirculated. From the images, it was not even close to the condition of this piece and it realized over $1,100.
