Nicholas I Rouble 1848 CПБ-HI AU55 PCGS, St. Petersburg mint, Bitkin-218, KM-C168.1. Superbly struck, with greenish-gray toning over full underlying luster. A few minor marks are noted, but probably no actual wear. Possibly slight "cabinet friction" from being shuffled around for over 150 years. A much superior example of this grade than one would expect.
