Isabel II Proof Maravedi 1842 PR64 Brown NGC, Segovia mint, KM525.3. Although not recorded as such, some rare examples of this type are known which display all characteristics of a Specimen or Proof striking: reflective surfaces and unusually strong strikes particularly on the rim denticles. They are singularly desirable since they allow to fully appreciate all the features of this simple yet handsome design.
