ARAB-BYZANTINE: Two Figure Phocas type, ca. 610s-640s, AE follis (9.04g), year "3 ", A-3500, based on the Antioch type MIB83, Gr-152, with mint name blundered and obverse legend meaningless, lovely brown patination, VF, R, ex CNG Auction 22, Lot 839. Struck before the Arab invasion, probably during the Persian occupation.
