REWAH: Gulab Singh, 1918-1946, AR rupee (11.39g), VS1975 (1919 AD), KM--, coat of arms, banner above, broad thin flan, similar to the contemporary British rupee, some luster, About Unc, RRR, ex Eck Prud'homme Collection. Accession commemorative, believed to have been struck later in his reign (circa 1930s-1940s), similar to the gold mohur type KM-36. Just as the gold commemoratives, there are many variants for the silver, of which only one type is listed by KM (now transfered to their Unusual World Coins volume). This piece hammered down for $1700 in our Auction 9 Lot 845.
