The Nova Constellatio coppers were struck in England, without a denomination and dated 1783 and 1785. The designs and legends were copied from patterns made in Philadelphia. After being minted in England the coins were shipped to New York where they entered circulation. Listed by Crosby as very scarce and by Breen as rare.
