MEDIEVAL ISLAMIC:LOT of 67 pieces of Ayyubid, Mamluk and Ottoman coins, as follows: Ayyubid, 8 silver dirhams (including two of Saladin, one of Dimashq 581), 4 fractional dirhams, and 10 copper coins (including one VF example of al-Awhad Ayyub, facing bust type); Mamluk, 13 silver and 9 copper coins, all very common (average VG to Fine), and Ottoman, 2 ex-jewelry gold coins (zeri mahbub of 1203 year 9 and ½ hayriye altin of 1223 year 22, total AGW about 2.5g), 13 silver akçes, 4 silver dirhams, and 4 copper mangirs (the first three groups mostly Fine or better), very basic lot of inexpensive coins, retail at least $500, lot of 67 pieces.
