TANG: Su Zong, 756-762, AE cash (2.83g), H-14.124, qian yuan zhong bao, Fine, R, ex Nicholas Rhodes Collection. Judging by their find spots, these coins were likely cast by the local government in the Kuche area of Xinjiang in around 760-780. Hartill makes this note of coins H-130 to 132A, but this small crudely cast type, in the name qian yuan, is identical in casting style, fabric and size to the other Xinjiang coins and thus likely produced in the same area.
Estimate: 120- 150 USD
