A Second World War D.S.O awarded for service in North West Europe 1945 with the Suffolk Regt. together with a Military Cross awarded for Dunkirk Beaches 1940 in a group of eleven. Distinguished Service Order dated 1945, Military Cross GVIR dated 1940, 1939-45, Africa, Burma and France & Germany Stars, Defence & War Medals, Coronation Medal 1937, Coronation Medal 1953, General Service Medal EIIR bar Cyprus (Brig.A.J.D.Turner, D.S.O., M.C., Staff). With cases for D.S.O. and M.C., three dog tags, related newspaper cuttings, photographs & general paperwork. M.C. an immediate award won at Bray Les Duneson 29th May 1940 serving with the Suffolk Regiment. Later serving as Brigadier, Deputy Adjutant-General at the General H.Q., Middle East Forces and the South East Asia Command. Together with a Five Year Diary giving entries of daily action on Dunkirk beaches.
