BRITISH COINS, Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Silver Crown, Seventh issue (1601-1602), crowned ornate bust left with orb and sceptre, initial mark 1 (1601) both sides, rev quartered shield over long cross fourchée, 29.74g (N 2012; S 2582). A little weakly struck at centre both sides with associated annealing striations, otherwise a good fine, lightly toned.
