BRITISH COINS, Elizabeth I, Milled Coinage, Silver Shilling, type A, smaller size, 29mm, crowned bust left with decorated dress, initial mark star (1560-1566) both sides, rev quartered shield of arms upon long cross fourchée, 5.90g (N 2022; S 2592). Small flan split to obverse 6 o'clock from striking, otherwise very fine, lightly toned.
