BRITISH COINS, Charles I, Silver Groat, 1644 (date not visible), Exeter mint (1643-1646), crowned bust left within circle, value behind, initial mark rose both sides, date in legend, rev oval quartered shield of arms, 1.54g (Brooker 1071; N 2579; S 3088). A little ragged, weak at top, very fine with a good portrait, toned.
