BRITISH COINS, Victoria, Silver Halfcrown, 1840, young head left with two plain fillets in hair, W.W. incuse on truncation, date below, rev crowned quartered shield of arms within wreath (ESC 673; Davies 563; S 3887). Attractively toned, some wispy hairlines on obverse, short scratch above date, otherwise extremely fine and rare.
