BRITISH COINS, Victoria, Silver Halfcrown, 1881, young head left of inferior workmanship, two plain fillets in hair, date below, rev crowned quartered shield of arms within wreath (ESC 707; Davies 591, dies 5+D; S 3889). Toned a little unevenly, good extremely fine, the rarer Davies variety.
