BRITISH 18th CENTURY TOKENS, Thomas Keys, Copper Halfpenny, 1796, obv two T's, one inverted and overlaid, between two keys, SPA . GARDEN . BERMONDSEY around, rev T. KEYS BERMONDSEY SPA GARDEN 1796, edge engrailed (Atkins p.193, 10; D&H Surrey 5). Struck a little off centre but the reverse die not yet fractured, good extremely fine for issue and with some faded red remaining, very rare.
