Cnut (1016-35), Penny, 1.04g, pointed helmet type, London, Brungar, helmeted bust left, rev. +brvngar on lvnd, voided short cross, arms extending from pellet within central annulet, broken annulet in each angle, pellet either side of the initial cross (N.787; S.1158), surface crack along one arm of voided cross, silvery deposits but mostly original surfaces, a well struck example, nearly extremely fine.
