Oitaioi, c. 360s-340s BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 15mm, 2.72 g 11), Herakleia Trachinia. Lion's head to left, with spear in its jaws. Rev. ΟΙΤΑΩΝ Herakles standing facing, holding club with both hands transversely across his chest; inscription to right. BCD I, 1212 (same dies). Valassiadis 2. Rare, a bright and attractive example. Some minor surface roughness, otherwise, about extremely fine.
