Pixodaros, c. 341/0-336/5 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 17mm, 6.77 g 12), Halikarnassos. Laureate head of Apollo facing, three-quarter facing to right, with top of his cloak visible at his neckline. Rev. ΠΙΞΩΔΑΡΟΥ Zeus Labraundos standing right, holding long scepter in his left hand and double-ax in his right. BMC 5-7. SNG Copenhagen 596-7. SNG von Aulock 2375-6. Toned as found. Some minor die rust, otherwise, about extremely fine.
