Rhodos, Rhodes. c. 229-205 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 18mm, 6.82 g 12), Aristokritos. Radiate head of Helios facing, turned slightly to the right. Rev. ΑΡΙΣΤΟΚΡΙΤΟΣ Rose with bud to left; below, Ρ Ο; to left, aphlaston. Ashton 219. BMC 138. SNG Keckman 546. A lovely, sharply struck and toned example. Extremely fine.
