LEOn En Χ.ω bASILEu S Romωn Elaborate facing bust of Leo VI with long beard, and wearing a crown with a cross composed of four pellets, and a chlamys with tablion; holding globe surmounted by a patriarchal cross in his right hand. DOC 1a. SB1723. Extremely rare. An attractive and clear example. Some minor marks and edge bangs, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
