CILICIA. Uncertain (Issos?). Obol (4th century BC).

Obv: Athena standing left, holding shield and phiale.
Rev: Herakles standing right, leaning on club, holding lion's skin and bow.

SNG France -; Isegrim -; Göktürk -.

Staters of the Cilician city of Issos show a very similar depiction of Heracles, so it might be possible to attribute this fraction to Issos.

Condition: Very fine.

Weight: 0.56 g.
Diameter: 10 mm.
