BOLIVIA. 8 Reales, ND (1555-98)-PB. Philip II (1556-98). NGC VF Details--Saltwater Damage.
KM-5.1; Cal-type-114#158. Moderate surface granularity from saltwater submersion but with full shield, cross, denomination and mint/assayer. An interesting feature which may go unnoticed at first glance, at 6 o'clock on obverse is a silver plug, more visible on the reverse. The plug was applied prior to striking, as is evident by the uninterrupted design crossing the seam of the plug. With certificate of authenticity from treasure Salvors Inc (Grade 1). NGC VF Details--Salt Water Damage.
