MIXED LOTS. Byzantine. Lot of (2) Coin Weights.
2 pieces in lot. An interesting pair of Byzantine coin weights. (1) piece is a 13 mm bronze square (4.0 gms) and the larger piece is an octagonal (38.74 mm, 52.72 gms) bronze piece. The small square piece features a cross and "X" design. The octagonal piece features a central dot, cross above, and "N-IR" at either side, all within a linear circular border. Nice faint apple green patina. Should be examined. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. BOLD VERY FINE.
