Warwickshire. Birmingham - Diva Britanniae bronzed Penny Token 1800 MS63 Brown NGC, DH-19. E: BY GEORGE BARKER BIRMINGHAM MDCCC. Among the most desirable of all the tokens in The Marshall Collection, with only 24 struck; 12 in the present copper and 12 in white metal. The present specimen remains very well preserved with noticeably reflective fields and a strike that confidently rendered the design. Some gold and blue iridescence meanders the surfaces and a partial fingerprint fragment becomes evident in front of the bust when closely inspected.
