Yorkshire. Beverley 1/2 Penny Token 1797 MS65 Brown NGC, DH-13d. E: \\\. Struck over an earlier anti-slavery type with deep brown color and pleasing definition of the pawnbroker's balls. An extremely rare variety with a milled edge, and believed to be one of just a few to exist. A faint "15" in inked into the reverse surfaces and likely served as a collection identifier.
