Perthshire. Perth 1/2 Penny Token 1797 UNC, DH-1. E: PAYABLE ON DEMAND BY JOHN FERRIERS. A lovely illustrated type with a man dragging a net to shore on one side and a commemoration to the Taybridge completion on the other. An example, seemingly a touch finer than the present and with some original red, is noted as having sold at Davissons in June of 2013 for $495 hammer.
