BRITISH COINS, Henry VII, Groat, London mint, sub class IIIc, facing crowned bust in tressure with fleurs on cusps, only outer arch of crown jewelled, initial mark anchor (1499-1502), rev long cross patteé, inscriptions in twin concentric circles, trefoil of pellets in each inner angle, D of inner legend struck over C, L possibly over a D, 2.66g (N 1705c; S 2199). Weak in some of outer legend both sides, otherwise very fine, toned.
