BRITISH COINS, IRELAND, James II (1685-1691), Gunmoney Crown, 1690, struck over a large Halfcrown, king on horseback left with upright sword, rev die axis nearly 90º out to left, crown at centre, cruciform shields (DF 366; S 6578D). Figure "5" stamped incuse between horse's rear legs, one spot of verdigris, weakly struck in parts, otherwise good very fine.
