COMMEMORATIVE MEDALS, WORLD MEDALS, FRANCE, Henry IV (1589-1610), the Artillery, restrike Silver Medal, 1601, by the Danfries [Philip I (c.1531-1606) and Philip II (c.1572-1604)], laureate and armoured bust right, with lion shoulder-plate, rev eagle astride two cannons firing at towns in the distance, IOVIS ARMIGER ALES, 49mm, edge stamped ARGENT (BMC [Jones] I, 189). Mid 19th century, good very fine with light tone.
