BRITISH COINS, Edward III (1327-1377), Groat, London mint, Pre-Treaty Period (1351-1361), class F, facing crowned bust in tressure with trefoils on cusps, initial mark crown both sides, rev long cross patteé, inscriptions in twin concentric circles, trefoil of pellets in each inner angle, 4.67g (N 1163; S 1569). Lightly toned, about very fine.
