BRITISH COINS, Henry VI, first reign, Groat, Calais mint, annulet issue (1422-1430), 3.71g; Edward IV (first reign), Groat, heavy coinage, quatrefoils at neck, trefoil on breast, eye after TAS, initial mark rose (1468-1469), 3.52g; Edward IV (second reign), Groat, initial mark pierced cross and pellet to lower left (1477-1480), fleurs on some cusps, 3.01g (S 1836, 1974, 2098). Generally very fine, first brightly cleaned with patch of tone on the reverse, second toned with two striking splits from rim into legend, the third toned, all lightly double struck. (3)
