BRITISH COINS, Henry VI, first reign, Groat, Calais mint, pinecone mascle issue (1431-1432/3), facing crowned bust in tressure with fleurs on cusps, initial mark cross fleury, rev long cross patteé, trefoil of pellets in each inner angle, pinecones and mascle in legend both sides, initial mark plain cross, 3.84g (N 1461; S 1875). A little uneven in shape, otherwise practically very fine.
