BRITISH COINS, Edward IV, first reign, Groat, London mint, heavy coinage (1461-1464), facing crowned bust in tressure with fleurs on cusps, trefoil on breast, quatrefoil of pellets either side of neck, initial mark rose both sides, rev long cross patteé, trefoil of pellets in each inner angle, eye after TAS in legend, 3.62g (N 1532; S 1974). Very fine, toned.
