Chimu Figural Vessel. An excellent Chimu figural vessel from Peru, ca. 1100 – 1450 AD. This highly burnished blackware piece is 7" high and depicts an individual with a sling or empty bag wrapped around his shoulders. The arms and sling are molded in high relief and the face is unusually expressive. Intact, with good mineral deposits.
