CHINA--EMPIRE. Ch'ing Dynasty. 50,000 Cash, Yr. 8 (1858). P-A7b.
(S/M#T6-54) This note along with the 100,000 Cash we are also offering represent the highest denominations for this widely popular Ch'ing Dynasty series. This is first of the denomination we have offered, and one of only a small handful we are aware of that have sold publicly in the last five years. A larger format size is utilized compared to the lesser denominations and appropriately larger stamped seals. The note shows with a strong impression of the primary blue design, with dragons at top center with Pearl of Wisdom between. Water at lower border with patterns and characters at left and right. Some margin damage at the lower right is observed although it does not impede upon the printed design. Overall, a denomination that is certainly missing in even advanced collections. PCGS Very Fine 25 Apparent. Minor Internal Splits and Damage at Bottom Right, Minor Stains.

Estimate: $10000.00- $15000.00
